Post-by-Post is built to need as little as possible. This policy covers the Post-by-Post browser extension and this website, provided by Kramerica Industries.

The extension collects nothing

The extension does not collect, store, send, sell or share any personal information, browsing history, Reddit content or usage data. It contains no analytics or tracking.

Settings

Your settings (snapping on/off, auto-scroll timer, hotkeys) are saved with your browser's built-in extension storage. If you use browser sync, your browser may sync them between your own devices. They are never sent to us.

Where it runs

The extension runs on reddit.com, where it adjusts scrolling and reads the page only to find where posts begin and end, and on postbypost.app, where it receives your license key after checkout so Pro unlocks automatically.

Purchases

When you buy Pro, the payment is handled by our reseller Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record, under Paddle's privacy policy. We never see your card details.

After you buy Pro, you get a license key (your Paddle order number). To unlock Pro, the extension sends that key to postbypost.app, which asks Paddle whether it is a paid, unrefunded Pro purchase and answers yes or no. No email or other personal details are involved, and nothing is stored on our servers. The extension keeps the key in your browser's extension storage and re-checks it about once a week, so refunds are reflected.
